February Dog Daycare Highlights

February is
Lick Month

This month, we’re spreading the love with "Lick Month" as our enrichment theme. Yes, you read that right!  We’re introducing interactive lick mats and bowls to our routine to give our furry friends a sweet treat. Whether it’s creamy peanut butter, yogurt, or freshly mashed bananas, they will love these healthy snacks.

Why licking? Because of its incredible calming benefits!  Licking releases endorphins in a dog's brain, helping to soothe anxiety and promote a sense of relaxation during their busy daycare day. It’s the perfect way to keep their minds engaged. We can’t wait to see those happy, wagging tails and messy faces as they enjoy their new favorite way to feel the love!

Free Daycare Day!

We’re excited to introduce our Referral Program! If your dog is currently enrolled and attending daycare and has a friend who might enjoy joining them, we’d love to welcome them! Simply refer a friend to daycare, and once that pup completes their first day with us, the referral is complete.

As a thank-you, your dog earns a FREE day of daycare after their friend’s first day! It’s our way of saying thanks for spreading the love and helping grow our daycare family.

January Recap

Take a moment to see the fun the dogs had last month at Embark Academy! From interactive playtime to outdoor adventures, our furry friends enjoyed every paws-on moment! Check out the photos and highlights of our exciting activities.

January Enrichment

January was all about scenting! We created different levels of difficulty depending on the dog to encourage engagement, confidence building and getting those noses and brains working. Besides treats, we included scents such as vanilla, green tea, peanut butter and coconut oil!

Carrots!

We offered carrots as a healthy snack in January. While some of the dogs chewed it up and spit it out,  others couldn't get enough!
Carrots are a low-calorie snack that offer some dental benefits, help support digestion and good source of vitamin A!
Mostly we enjoyed hearing them crunch!

New Friends

We always welcome some new faces in daycare! Please say hello to our newest friends.
We make sure to make each dog feels understood and we take their individual needs into account. Shy dogs get additional one-on-one snuggle time with staff, while high energy pups get some extra structured play.
